to those who do or don't know, i am a person who, against all odds, came out the other side of the very same impacts of what thousands of children currently being separated from their Indigenous parents are experiencing and will live with their entire lives.
i have known many children, for one reason or another, separated from their parents who struggle their entire lives, to do the things required of them to live in this world with ease, love and opportunity.
that kind of trauma doesn't just ~end~ when we become adults.
and for many, the healing could never happen, because the world is a rotten place for those displaced and abandoned by people and systems said to protect.
i'm so lucky to have made it out alive.
my only wish is for those of us who need healing and connection, will find it.
through Raven Sun offerings, through community and through nature connection. healing is the heartbeat of all that i do.
a critical component of my work comes from my Indigenous teachings - skuyá: to give because others are in need.
